Play The Left 4 Dead Demo Even Though Its Locked? – ACHIEVED

So the game “Left 4 Dead”(www.l4d.com) is going to be fun but most probably still want to play the demo the problem is “valve” the creator of this great game has locked the demo so you have to buy it to even get a taste of it, well you can get around this simply by doing what the video below tells you to do.

(PLEASE NOT IF UNABLE TO LOAD MANIFEST FILE POPS UP I CANNOT HELP)

You first have to start a dedicated server! In that same directory where

you found ‘left4dead.exe’ there is a file called ‘srcds.exe’. With Steam running,

double-click on ‘srcds.exe’, make Network equal to LAN (unless you want Network to be Internet)

, enter a password, and click Start Server button. Once the server is started you can then

double-click on ‘left4dead.exe’ to get to the menu to

play the demo. Have fun playing the demo!

CD/Disk Drive Keeps Opening and Closing by Itself – RESOLVED PROBLEM

This problem just recently today happened to me and I was curious (it got extremely annoying)

This can be many problems

1. Something Jammed in gears
2. Trojan/Spyware (viruses)
3. Taskeng spam

Here are the solutions to problems I have seen/encountered before

Something Jammed In Gears
If there is something jammed in the gears open the disk drive and stick your finger into it and dust off the 2gears(usually white with an black elastic band around it)

Trojan/Spyware Viruses
If you have a Trojan or Spyware this may be occurring to fix this use an anti-virus program and scan for viruses then quarantine with the anti-virus program.

Taskeng Spam
There is a taskeng spam(this is what happened to me today) then you simply have to:Press CRTL + ALT + DELETE and then go to processes and keep ending taskeng processes until the drive stops opening and closing. (there is tons of Tasks but you don’t have to end them all only some until it fixes.

To Change/Customize this message “Never give out your password…” or maybe other messages:
1.Press Start
2.Then press Run…
3.Then type Regedit
4.Then press enter
5.Next Go To HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MessengerService\Policies
6.Click on Policies
7.Then at the Right side of Registry Editor window, Click the Mouse right button
8.Then Click New
9.Then Choose String value
10.Then ReName the New Value #1 to “IMWarning”
11.Then Click on “IMWarning” twice and type any message you want, for example S) One God One World (*)
12.Restart Messenger

FREE Non hotmail msn accounts (ex: example@infinteroyalt.co.nr)
1.Go to www.passport.com
2.Click “sign up”
3.Where it says “type your email adress” put whatever you want (ex: example@infiniteroyalty.co.nr)
4.Now you can sign in usin Windows Live Messenger or MSN. (you cannot receive emails just chat with this account)

MSN Invisible Nickname
1.Go to Tools
2.Then Options
3.Then Personal Options
4.Then delete your current Nickname
5.Then hold ALT and press 016 on the right numpad, now hit ok

WordPress 2.7 IS HERE!!!!

After all this time of waiting that’s right WordPress 2.7 is here! That’s right what just got previewed is here, I cannot believe it (help I’m stuck in a cycle of O.M.G’s)

This is a great improvement from the older versions of WordPress mainly because now almost everything can be controlled from the dashboard (see image below)

Is that just not incredible the ability to:

• Moderate comments from dashboard
• View stats from dashboard
• Quickly post if your time struck

Error Code 81000451 Simpler Solution – RESOLVED – Cannot Sign In

A comment has been posted under my old post by a very smart person named “Nick” and here is a simpler way in doing it quoted from Nick.

An easier solution, but based on exactly what the person has said in the other post.

This error has been addressed by the WLM team and will be fixed in the final release. It occurs generall when a user blocks, then leaves a Group.

To avoid such issues stay away from activities such as

a) Put a group on the block list
b) Leave the group
c) Sign-out
d) Sign-in will fail

OR

a) Blocking an empty group.

which will cause the BETA to ** LOCK YOUR Windows live ID ** and hence all contact information from your SYSTEM needs to be deleted and the easiest way to do so is… but keep in mind if you have multiple users using Windows Live Messenger Beta, this will erase all contact information for every user using WLM – Beta.

Recommended Solution – Revert to 8.5 Stable Release as there is no Group feature.

* EASIER SOLUTION BASED ON ABOVE ARTICLE *

- Close WLM Beta. (right click on tray -> exit )

- naviagate too C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Microsoft

- rename folder Windows Live Conctacts to ” Windows Live Contacts _ 1 ”

** i say RENAME as some windows live contacts is not only used for Windows live Messenger but with every other Live software. Windows Live Mail, vista contacts, live MESH, etc hence if you do face issues with other software, you may revert to your previous folder ****

- start windows live messenger again.

- You should sign in successfully and a NEW ‘ Windows LIve Conctacts ‘ folder should be created.

AGAIN, if you do face problems with other LIVE applications, revert to the previous folder and downgrade to the Stable release of Windows Live Messenger.

A online multiplayer flash game – Just like the classic worms

When I first played this flash game all I could say is “wow, outstanding, best flash game ever made” The game is Territory WAR online from Afro Ninja Productions(the best flash game developer IMHO) this flash game plays just like the classic Worms Armageddon which was a very fun game(old though) but here is a glimpse of the game that knocked its socks off.
